Open the Google Slides macro in Confluence typing /slides
Paste the URL of the file into the corresponding section

If want to paste the link without embedding the file, just paste the URL followed by the undo command (Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z). |
The recommended minimum width is 1350 px. You should set your Confluence page to full width since fixed width is 760px. |
Your Google Slides file must be publicly viewable to be embedded correctly. |

If you click on the Google Sheets icon in the embedded viewer, the application may crash. Please refresh your browser page if this occurs. We are aware of this issue but since it is caused by a limitation of the Google platform it can’t be fixed at the moment. |
From the Share menu in Google Slides
Set the privacy to “Anyone with the link” and copy the link. If you want the embedded file to be in “view only” mode, select “Viewer” from the dropdown menu to the right.
When you restrict the link permissions from editor to viewer, anyone who is not the owner of the Google Slides file will no longer be able to change the permissions. |
Directly from the address bar
When you’re navigating the slides in your browser, copy the URL from the address bar. This link will contain the same settings you have already set in the Share menu.
